Wanna get debt free

I have some debt I want to get out of, and want my family to get debt free. So I am starting to look around at how to save money.

So far, I came up with a few sites to help get me along the path....

fatwallet.com - lots of good finance stuff going on there
hotcouponworld.com - great find for my wife for grocery deals and savings

found some good debt reduction calculators, and savings tools. So this will be my blog for progress on savings and debt reduction. Needed a journal to log into to keep me on path

debt ytd - $70K from all sources, not ncluding house

budget still working on.

My first goal is to get our spending under control, and use deal sites to help out.

We'll see how this goes!

    Thanks for posting - that was fast! We started this week on this new plan. From a deal my wife found about cereal on hotcouponworld, and a good chunk of money to a high interest credit card, we are babysteipping our way their. I would like to see us be out of debt in the next few years. So , I am crossing my fingers we find a good way to do this. Don't want to be paying this off from the grave!

    Thanks for all the welcome wishes. I am working on a budget this next week, that's going to be my goal. Need to get a good look at money going in and money going out. My spouse is a spender and sometimes it's tough to get a good understanding of where our money goes. But I appreciate the well wishes. Hoping to make a stockpile like what I am seeing out there posted - like this example http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143&highlight=stockpile+pictures

    I think if we weren't paying full retail for things that could help.

    And then the other thing is working on organizing credit cards by interest rates.
